# Quick Start

### Create a first claim

1. Run `/claims select`.
2. Left-click a block to set Position 1.
3. Right-click a block to set Position 2.
4. Review the selected dimensions and area in the boss bar.
5. Run `/claims create`.

After a successful creation, CozyClaims automatically exits Claim Mode. The selected area cannot overlap another claim and must fit within the player's available claim-block balance.

### Open the menu

Run `/claims` to open the main menu. From there, players can:

* Browse and manage their claims
* Manage the claim they are standing in
* Add or resize land areas
* Invite members and assign roles
* Change protection settings
* Rename, pin, or change the icon of a claim
* Teleport to claims or show their borders
* Manage claim bans
* View their claim-block balance

### Recommended first configuration

Before opening the server to players, review:

* `disabled-worlds`
* `claim-blocks.initial-accrued-blocks`
* `claim-blocks.accrual.blocks-per-hour`
* `claim-blocks.accrual.maximum-accrued-blocks`
* `teleport`
* `borders`
* `bans`

Apply configuration and message changes with `/claimsadmin reload` unless a page specifically recommends a restart.
